DFW Crashpads - WARM BEDS

A smarter crashpad option for commuters who don't need a bed every night. Two friends. One dedicate

Introducing the Warm Bed from John Carlos LLC.

Most crashpads offer either a cold bed, where the bed is yours exclusively, or a hot bed, where you share with other crew members. We think there is another option. The Warm Bed is designed for two friends or colleagues who already know each other and can coordinate their schedules. You share one dedicated bed between the two of you, with each person paying $250 per month. That's $150 less per month than a regular $400 bed.

A better option for occasional commuters

If you only need a place to sleep at DFW a few nights each month, paying for a traditional crashpad bed may seem expensive. But relying on hotels can become expensive too. A few hotel nights every month can quickly add up, and every trip means finding a hotel, checking availability, making a reservation and paying the nightly rate. With a Warm Bed, your place is already there. You know where you're going when you get to DFW. You don't need to search for a hotel, worry about availability or make a new booking every time your schedule changes. You simply coordinate with your friend.

Your place at DFW, when you need it

Airline schedules change. Trips change. Days off change. That's part of the job. The Warm Bed gives you a regular place at DFW without requiring you to pay for a private bed that you may rarely use. When you are scheduled to be in town, check your schedule with your Warm Bed partner and coordinate who will use the bed. No hotel booking. No searching for somewhere to stay. No wondering where you'll sleep. Just your regular crashpad.

More than just a bed

Unlike a hotel room, your Warm Bed gives you access to the amenities of a fully equipped crew crashpad.

You'll have access to:

  • A fully furnished crashpad
  • Kitchen facilities
  • Refrigerator and food storage
  • Laundry facilities
  • High-speed Wi-Fi
  • Secure entry
  • Your own under-bed storage container
  • A regular location near DFW

And there's another advantage that hotels don't offer:

Leave your things behind.

You don't have to pack everything up and take it with you every time you leave DFW. Your under-bed storage container gives you somewhere to keep your belongings between stays. That means you can arrive at the crashpad with the essentials you need for your trip rather than travelling with everything you own.

You choose who you share with

This isn't a traditional hot bed. You choose your Warm Bed partner.

Your bed isn't being rotated between a group of people you don't know. You share it with the friend or colleague you booked with.  That means you already know who you're sharing with and can arrange the schedule between yourselves. If your schedules don't overlap, the arrangement can work particularly well.

Simple pricing

$250 per person, per month . That's $150 less per month than our regular $400 bed.

Both people must be confirmed for the Warm Bed arrangement. If you're unable to find a second person to share the bed with, the space is available at the standard $400/month rate.

How it works

1. Find a friend or colleague

Choose someone you trust and who has a compatible schedule.

2. Both book the Warm Bed

Both occupants pay $250 per month.

3. Coordinate your schedules

You and your Warm Bed partner are responsible for deciding who will use the bed when your schedules overlap.

4. Manage your own bedding

We provide two complete sets of bedding. Each person has their own bedding and is responsible for washing, changing and storing it.

5. Store your belongings

Each occupant receives an under-bed storage container for their personal belongings and bedding.

That's it.

The concept is simple: you share the bed, you share the cost and you manage the schedule between yourselves.

Warm Bed vs. a Hotel

If you're only at DFW occasionally, you may currently use hotels when you need somewhere to sleep.

The Warm Bed gives you another option.

Hotel:

Pay every time you stay
Book each stay separately
Availability and prices can vary
Pack your belongings in and out
No kitchen
No regular crashpad location

Warm Bed:

$250 per month
Your place is already there
No hotel booking required
Leave belongings in your storage space
Kitchen and laundry available
A regular location at DFW
Coordinate directly with your friend

For a commuter who regularly needs somewhere to sleep at DFW, the convenience can be just as valuable as the savings.

Is the Warm Bed right for you?

The Warm Bed could be ideal if you:

  • Commute into DFW
  • Are a high-time flyer
  • Only spend a few nights at base each month
  • Currently use hotels when you need somewhere to sleep
  • Have a friend or colleague with a compatible schedule
  • Want to save $150 per month compared with a regular bed
  • Like the idea of having somewhere you can leave your belongings
  • Don't want to worry about finding and booking a hotel every time you fly

Two friends. One dedicated bed. $250 each.

Your place at DFW, without paying for a bed you don't use every night.

Warm Bed availability is limited. Both occupants must apply and agree to the shared-bed arrangement. John Carlos LLC provides two sets of bedding and two under-bed storage containers. Occupants are responsible for coordinating their schedules, changing and washing their own bedding, and resolving scheduling conflicts between themselves. If a second occupant cannot be confirmed, standard $400/month pricing applies.
